The culinary star of the menu is, without a doubt, the tapsilog—a harmonious trio of tapa, sinangag (fried rice), and itlog (egg). The fried rice, described by Engelbert Tabones as "outstanding," is hot and fluffy, just as it should be. Each grain is imbued with garlicky goodness that elevates the dish. The tapa leans towards a delightful sweetness, perfectly complementing the savory notes of the fried rice. It’s a combination that evokes nostalgia while satisfying your cravings.
For those seeking variety, the lechonsilog takes center stage, with succulent lechon paired with the same savory fried rice and a perfectly cooked egg. Customer favorites also include the crispy chicken and lechon kawali, each delivering a satisfying crunch that echoes through the cozy diner. Every bite leaves you longing for more, a sentiment echoed by Marc Santos and other reviewers who rave about the dependable quality and flavor.

“ It was packed with people when we went. Their fried rice is outstanding; it's how sinangag in tapsilog should be, hot n buhaghag. Their tapa is on the sweet side. I find this worth it for what I spend. they use nice plates. friendly staff. ”
“ As someone that visited the Philippines for the first time, i really wanted to try a tapsilog especially in a place where it seems the most authentic. Going for breakfast, turned out the tapa is still being cooked, since I couldn't wait, i went to my scheduled tour and got back for lunch. It's a late lunch (place so packed by dine-in and take away) so there's maybe a little waiting around 5 minute until someone finished and i got the seat. Taste wise? I think the tapa is really nice. Really tender and tasty, the problem is the size, idk but it's kind of small for me. But yeah it's quite cheap, around 80-90 PHP per portion. I wanted to add the sausage but idk how to say that i only want the sausage. If i can go there again, i'll definitely ask them to give me the tapa, longanisa and everything they have. Cause it's so good ”
“ This is my go-to spot for tapsilog. Their lechonsilog, paired with mang tomas, kasiba, and their soup, is definitely worth a taste. ”
“ I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chades Tapsilog with my beloved family, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere and warm greetings from the staff made us feel right at home. Let's talk about the star of the show - the chicken! Oh, how I relished every bite of that perfectly crispy and tender chicken. It was cooked to perfection, with a satisfying crunch that left me wanting more. The flavors were simply divine, with every bite bursting with succulent juiciness. It was evident that the chicken was prepared with great care and attention to detail. Now, let's move on to the sauce of chili oil. It was a true game-changer! The chili oil had just the right amount of heat, adding a delightful kick to the dish. The flavors were well-balanced, enhancing the taste of the chicken without overpowering it. I found myself generously drizzling the sauce over each piece of chicken, savoring the fantastic combination of flavors. While the main dish stole the spotlight, I must mention the complimentary soup. Although it was a pleasant addition to the meal, I believe it could benefit from a touch of improvement. While the flavors were decent, I found myself wishing for a bit more depth and richness. However, I must commend the restaurant for their generosity in providing the soup free of charge. The service at Chades Tapsilog was exceptional. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and made sure that all our needs were met. They were more than happy to answer any questions we had, and their genuine smiles added to the overall positive experience. In terms of pricing, I found Chades Tapsilog to be reasonably priced considering the high quality and generous portions. The value for money was definitely there, making it a great choice for families looking for a satisfying and wallet-friendly meal. Overall, I highly recommend Chades Tapsilog to anyone craving a delectable chicken dish. The chicken's crunchiness and flavor were exceptional, and the sauce of chili oil added a delightful kick. While the complimentary soup could use a bit of improvement, it didn't overshadow the overall amazing dining experience. With its cozy ambiance, attentive service, and mouth-watering food, Chades Tapsilog is a surefire winner for a delightful family dining experience. We'll definitely be returning for more! ”
